I'm basically a dachshund. Or a corgi. Whichever you prefer. Or insert the name of any long-torsoed, short-limbed creature, here. So stumpy, stubby, child-like paws come with the territory. People laugh when I reach out my hand for them to shake. When I present my seemingly ten-year-old appendage to my unsuspecting manicurist, it is usually met with a widening of the eyes and a loud, piercing conversation with a nearby Vietnamese women involving much pointing and chuckling.
