How to Win the Network Marketing Game

So why are people finding network marketing so hard? Is it impossible to reach the fifty thousand a month mark? Of course not, however many people just don't know how to really get started.

If you do a little planning you will have a much more pleasant network marketing experience. First you have to know that this is a business so treat it like one. If you treat it like a hobby it will reward you like a hobby, little pay.

Next, you want to make sure the product you are going to be selling is truly of value. Would you feel comfortable sharing it with your loved ones? This isn't saying you are going to try and sell it to them, but you should feel proud representing the products.

Are the products completely stand alone and can you make a profit without just recruiting. The biggest mistake most newbie networkers make is trying to just recruit. You must make product sales in order for your business to truly thrive.

After that you should look at your potential sponsor. Do they really know what they are talking about? Do they have a vested interest in your future or are they just trying to sell you something? It's important to find out a little about your sponsor.

The people who really make significant income in network marketing have realized that it is a people business. People don't join companies or comp plans, they join YOU. Make sure your sponsor is supporting that message and isn't calling it a "numbers game."

The main thing you want out of a sponsor is they should be able to teach you how to duplicate what they have done.

Finally, you will want to do your due diligence on your potential company. Make sure the company is completely debt free and is operating inside the U.S. You don't want to work with a company that is hiding in the Bahamas or off in Panama somewhere. Also, do some research on the company's management. The management will dictate the integrity of the entire company, avoid the greedy managed companies!

In the end, network marketing is about steady action towards a desired goal. Make sure you are moving towards your goals every day and success will magically find you.

How to Overcome The Pain of Rejection in Network Marketing

Rejection is inevitable in your home business even if you're constantly talking to warm prospects. Some of those prospects are going to say no to you. No's often crush people, with some quitting this business just after one no. I have seen people join up and call their first prospect, get a no and decide it's not for them.

Rejection may be a deep seeded issue with some people so if they hear it again later in life it stops them dead in their tracks. This is especially true for those cold calling all day (which I don't recommend) getting 10-30 no's a day.

The first no you receive seems to really hurt; you may stop calling the rest of the night and just go do something else. It may even stop you from calling for a whole week as you just pace back and forth by the phone. Some people really never get over it and they just quit altogether.

One key I have learned over the years about "no's" is that they are usually just objections not rejections. Most of the time when people tell you no it's because they are making excuses. The timing might not be right, but usually they are procrastinating.

These aren't the type of people you are looking for anyways. The people that say "YES" and "I'm ready" are the ones you should desire. Don't try to sell the people that give you no's, they aren't ready for success. If you truly become the leader you know you are then the right people will magically become attracted to you.

When someone says no they aren't rejecting you in any sense. They are rejecting the opportunity you have presented to them. Many people take that as a direct insult to them as a person.

To help you with this I'm going to tell you a story one of my mentors told me.

Have you ever been to a coffee shop? Well lets say you don't drink coffee, but everyone at your table does. If the waitress comes over to you and says, "Do you want coffee?" What are you going to tell her?

No of course, so you said no to the coffee and not to her. So think about your opportunity as the coffee that you're offering to someone else. If they say no then they are saying no to the opportunity of having some coffee not to the person offering it.

I hope that makes sense because it will change your outlook on rejection. You need to understand that rejection to your opportunity is nothing, just move on to the next person.

How to Generate MLM Leads & Cash Without Sponsoring One Person

It sounds truly great, but not many people actually believe it can be done. There is a way that you can generate tons of leads and actually make money doing it without sponsoring any of them.

The fact is that most people go about network marketing all backwards. They try to just sponsor a person out of the blue and this is all wrong. Most people won't buy from someone until they trust that person.

In addition, sometimes the timing is just not right for certain people. That is why monetizing your efforts is so important. What I'm about to reveal to you will do that.

This valuable piece of information is called a funded proposal. The idea is very simple but vastly overlooked by many network marketers.

How it works is simply offering a bribe to the potential prospect then backending a product like an e-book or an interview you can sell.

Before I go into that, the first thing you must know is how to set up a capture page. A capture page is basically a single page website with some info and a place where your prospect can "opt-in." Opting in is just signing in their name and email so you can contact them later (lead).

The capture page is what you advertise out to people so if they land on it they have to either give out their information or leave.

So what do you advertise on the capture page? Well you must offer them the bribe, which is something free for giving you their information.

This must be a generic training offer or a free five day course. Maybe on something like "The 5 Biggest Mistakes a Network Marketer Can Make." You would give this five day course out for free on a span of five days.

Now on the backend is where you make you profit as you have already received a lead from the opt-in page. The beauty of this is that you have generated a trust with the prospect through your five day free mini-course.

So what is the backend product? The backend product is something for lets say $19.95. This e-book or interview could just be a bigger version of your five day course. Maybe titled "How I Finally Found Success in Network Marketing."

It needs to be generic with no company names mentioned, however resources are alright. So what happens is the prospect is enjoying the five day course and just craves more information. Naturally at the end of each email you may say a little blurb about your book. However don't just advertise it, make it very subtle.

So that is how you set up a funded proposal. First you make a product and then put together a free course which basically sells the product. This is something called "sellacation." You educate your prospect as you are actually selling them something. If someone learns something they didn't know then you ultimately are of high value to them.

Then after they buy a little product (your $19.99 e-book), they will be much more open to looking at your opportunity. You will get people asking you, "So what program are you in?" When that happens it's true gold because humans are much more open to buy things from someone they have already bought from.

Also, even if the person doesn't buy your e-book you can keep sending them useful information in the form of a newsletter. Keep building their trust and I guarantee they will eventually sign up with you. This especially holds true today because people are just running around saying, "Pick Me" instead of actually building a relationship.

How to Deal With Supposed Failures in Your Business

So how does someone have true enormous success in their home business? Is it because they found out some secret code that nobody else knows? Or maybe they were just lucky.

No, it's actually none of the above. The reason for people succeeding and failing is all in perception. The perception of what is in question is failure. How do you perceive failure and what is your reaction to it?

Most people end up failing in network marketing because they struggle and think they have failed and quit. The people who make money in this industry are the ones who have changed their perception of failure.

Although many situations are unchangeable, you can change how you view them. The main idea here is the ability to detach your feelings from unfavorable events. Start to view everything as being meant to happen.

Look at failure as an opportunity to learn from your mistakes, it shouldn't be a reason to quit.

However, the biggest reason people do completely quit in free enterprise is because they aren't mentally prepared. Owning your own business is going to throw your emotions in all different directions.

One day you could get 40 leads and some calls and then the next day you get nothing. The way you perceive each of these events will ultimately decide your fate in the industry.

I don't believe in failure, I believe that every event has a purpose. Every action you take is going to lead you closer to your ultimate goal. For that reason you must have a "why."

Why are you starting your own business? Don't say money, think deeper. Why do you want the money? What will the free time ultimately bring you? More time with your family or just the satisfaction of being your own boss?

You need to develop a "why" so strong that no matter what you will keep going. Find what is really driving you below the surface to get out of bed and strive towards your goals.

Once you truly find your "why" you will no longer have to be motivated by another person. You will develop a thing called self-motivation. Once that happens no amount of perceived "failure" can ever stand in your way.

How to Build an Attrition Resistant Network Marketing Business

With attrition rates (people leaving your organization) at a staggering 70% within three months of startup, the network marketing industry is come by day, leave by night. Why is that? Lack of good leaders? Maybe.

However, this article isn't geared towards that topic. This article is about how to make your business resistant to the constant attrition in network marketing. Well, one of my mentors Mike Dillard coined the term "You Inc" in his book MLM Traffic Formula.

Anyways, in today's world of convenience and fast paced action this couldn't be more important. No matter how good of a leader you are people will leave your organization. Things happen, people change and they may leave.

That is why it is crucial to create "You Inc." Let me explain. Creating "You Inc" is basically all about branding yourself in this industry and selling yourself not your company. In the end people don't buy into the company, the pay plan, or your stupendous life changing product. They buy YOU, that is it.

Creating "You Inc" really means creating a relationship with people and having a list. So no matter what happens tomorrow you will always have your list. Grow this list of people and build trust. Help your list achieve their goals and they will be with you forever.

When you create your list, attrition is a thing of the past. It doesn't matter if your company went out of business tomorrow because you still have the relationships.

You must solve other peoples problems and give without ever thinking about getting.

So what is "You Inc" you ask? It is a list of people who know and trust you because of the value you have given them over time. What do I mean by value? Value is teaching people without asking for money in return, being a mentor with a servant's heart. Once you have a list of people that trust you it doesn't matter what happens tomorrow. The equity you have is in yourself.

So build your list and help people without expecting anything in return. Once you start to truly open your heart to others is the day success will come your way.

How To Build a Successful Network Marketing Business

So what do four out of five network marketing gurus have in common? They all preach the same thing, recruiting is the path to success.

I disagree, this means that they expect every single prospect they sponsor to duplicate what they are doing. How? They sponsor, sponsor and sponsor some more. Then they just leave their downline out to dry. What next?

Are you telling me that these gurus expect everyone to become a master prospector like them? Well good luck getting every single person you bring in to do that. I don't know about you but that could take years of talking on the phone to become that good. No wonder the failure rate is up to about 95 percent in this industry.

Most sponsors expect everyone they recruit to become master recruiters, which can't be duplicated at all.

I suggest to you a better way, which insures your long term success in this great industry.

Ready? The best way to build your business is to simply build relationships. The concept is pretty simple but not really obvious to most. Many people in this industry are just in it for the short term profits and never really help anyone at all.

You must listen to people and actually care for them which leads to a relationship. Eventually trust evolves from the relationship and people will want to join you.

Help other people solve their problems and you will find success yourself. You need to put others first and genuinely care, after that I guarantee you building your business will be effortless. If you truly listen and I mean actually listen to what your prospect is saying they will respect you.

You need to stop talking! This is absolutely vital; you need to listen to what your prospect is truly saying. Listen to what they truly want to achieve and help them do it. If you do this correctly you will have a business partner for life.

The people you bring into your business are life partners and that is how you should be looking at the relationship. Your success depends on their success, so help them become successful and yours will follow.

How to Achieve Long Term Success in Network Marketing

What do you really want to achieve with your business? Profit wise, do you want short term profits or long term success? Well most would say long term success, but most of the people joining network marketing today are thinking in the short term.

So why do so many people have network marketing backwards today? It really is simple, people are thinking about themselves before others. This approach is completely backwards, which is mainly the reason people die off so quickly in this industry.

Why would you want to join with a person who doesn't care about your success? Is that the kind of person who is going to be there for you through thick and thin? Of course not, they wanted your money and they were thinking in the short term.

When in reality, if they would help you achieve your goals the relationship would blossom. Ultimately this would lead to more profits for the sponsor because you are making money and actually staying in the game.

The day you stop concentrating on yourself and honestly start to help people is the day you achieve ultimate success. Once you help enough people achieve their goals you will achieve yours I can guarantee that. When you start to help others long term success and profits find you.

You must become a mentor with a servant's heart. The number of people you help will directly reflect the amount of money you make. Zig Zigler once said, "The more you help people get what they want, the more you will get what you want."

You need to be willing to give, give, give and give some more before you can get. This is vitally important to your long term success in this industry. Because this industry can be amazingly gratifying when people tell you they just bought that new house or whatever it was they were striving towards.

Moral of this story, give give give, before you can get get get. The sooner you decide to become a mentor with a servant's heart the sooner you will have success. So start right now, go help someone in need and see how good it really feels.

Get used to that feeling it will pay you for the rest of your life.
